You are not supposed to identify with characters in order for a book to make the book good. All the characters can be despicable people and it still can be the most incredible book ever written. You don’t have to agree with everything the character does. It can still be a great novel. It seems to be a growing trend that if a book does not have likeable characters, then therefore it is not a worthwhile book, and that needs to stop.
It’s time to be brave.
Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, that is.
